What is it ? well it is a cyclocross bike . What the hell is a cyclocross bike ? It is the best of both worlds , well as far as I am concerned it is , why well it is light and more like a road bike but tougher and more like a mountain bike, as in frame will take more abuse and over all feel of the bike is a little more heavy than a road bike . Being a dirt girl I picked up a (road bike) and laughed "this thing will break into if it hits a curb" . So Rusty at BONZAI CYCLE WERX said look at his new bike and I did I liked it . So now back home to hit the computer to research. What did i find out about cyclocross bikes ? the people who race them are crazy . See videos of all the fun . But this did not stop me from wanting a cyclocross bike I do not think i will ever be a strong enough rider to race but want a bike to ride that I feel will not break if it hits a curb or finds some dirt under it's tires . I hoped to find one at the bike swap . We hit the bike swap sunday and Brain from Bozai cycle werx has a beautiful blue bike cyclocross in my size . I drooled all over it but looked at the price $1400.00 and said maybe next year . We picked up some good deals a new trainer and mat for the trainer some shorts , leggings and tires and such and came home . It was about four in the afternoon and the phone rings , It was Brain he said the bike is now half off he needs to sell the 2009 to make room for the new stock . So this is how I got my new bike . We are covered in snow or I would be out on this bad girl now . Well I may have to take her out and get some dirt on her later this afternoon .
